The Change in Me

I thought I would share with you my total transformation.  That is NOT my best before picture, but I could not find another on the computer!(lol) Anyway, I think one of things that enabled me to see this transformation through was; I considered it 'as unto the Lord'.  In Gal. 5:22, 23 the Bible says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith; Meekness, temperance against such there is no law."  It was impotant to see this as both an inward and outward changing.  The outward is nice, but I'd like to think the inward is even better! What do you think?

A Broken Record

This is actually the first day of real snowfall in Syracuse.  We had about 4 inches of snow within just a few hours.  When I took the pictures it had begun to sleet though (freezing rain).  Syracuse actually broke a record, this is the first time the city has gone this long without a significant snowfall.  It is supposed to rain later today, so I took these pictures before the snow melted! Completly different, isn't it Es, from when you were here in September?  It  is beautiful!!

Changing to winter

For most of this week, the girls and I have been preparing the house for winter.  The curtains needed to be changed out of necessity (lol) I had not changed these curtains since spring!! Usually I change with the seasons, but this year brought so many activities that it was not possible before this time.  If I was in Saint Lucia I would probably have Kay come over to advise me, but no can do!!  It was great though, beacause the girls hardly did any school work at all.   We're sticking to Math, Language Arts and Science.  They are enjoying this time.

Here comes December!

The first of December brought with it a beautiful dusting of snow. It reminded of the grace and mercy of the God, who created all things.  I was enjoying a hot cup of coffee and spending time with my Lord. The absolute silence signals the arrival of snow, it really blankets everything it touches and muffle all sounds (except the sound of the crows, nothing can muffle that sound!)  It was pretty amazing!

Here are some more photos of the summer
